Use a simple template and don’t make it hard on the eyes by using a font that is too small or too fancy. Stay between size 10 and 12, and go for a classic like Arial, Noto, Garamond or the default Calibri.
A neat cover letter layout will direct the reader’s gaze by leaving spaces between sections and paragraphs. If you have a huge block of text in the middle, consider pulling out some bullet points to organise it neatly.
Centre and space your customer service cover letter by setting even 1-inch margins on all sides. If your cover letter is shorter than most, you can extend this to 1.5-inch to improve the presentation.
